The Samsung 860 PRO 512GB SATA 2.5" SSD is the SSD to trust with heavy workloads. The 860 PRO performs at sequential write speeds up to 530 MB/s and sequential read speeds up to 560 MB/s using the latest V-NAND from Samsung. The NAND used in this SSD is Samsung's latest V-NAND in 2bit MLC. The 860 PRO 512GB uses the refined ECC algorithm and the latest MJX controller to generate higher speeds. The 860 PRO uses SATA III 6 Gb/s Interface, but it’s also compatible with SATA 3 Gb/s & SATA 1.5 Gb/s interface, providing backward compatibility.
The operating temperature of the 860 PRO is 0-70℃ and has a reliable MTBF of 1.5 trillion hours. The Samsung 860 PRO SSD comes in the 2.5-inch form factor. The Samsung Magician software can be used to monitor the health of the SSD, get the latest firmware updates to enhance performance, stability and compatibility. The 860 PRO 512GB SATA III SSD supports AES 256-bit hardware-based encryption and is compliant with TCG Opal and IEEE 1667 standards and certifications. The average power consumption is 2W and 3.3W under full load. The 860 PRO 512GB SATA III SSD comes with a 5 year or 600 TBW limited warranty.
