Samsung 860 EVO 250GB SATA 2.5" solid state drive is designed for mainstream desktop and laptops. The Samsung 860 EVO 250GB SATA 2.5" SSD comes with the latest V-NAND and a robust algorithm-based controller. The 860 EVO is a fast and reliable SSD from Samsung. The 860 EVO uses a SATA III connection to store and move data across devices. The SSD uses intelligent turbo write with sequential reads up to 550 MB/S (or 98K IOPS) and sequential write speeds up to 520 MB/S(or 90K IOPS). The 860 EVO has a turbo write buffer of 12GB. This samsung ssd uses the standard SATA III 6Gb/s and is also compatible with the SATA III 3Gb/s and SATA III 1Gb/s standards. You can store and render large size 4k videos and 3D data that is used by the latest applications.
The latest V-NAND technology gives up to 150TBW(Terabytes Written). The refined ECC(Error Correction Code) algorithm and a new MJX controller generate higher speeds which makes the 860 EVO more compatible with computing systems. The Samsung Magician software can be used to monitor the health of the SSD and track various features with a simple and easy to use interface. The 860 EVO SSD also supports 256-bit hardware-based encryption and is compliant with TCL opal and IEEE 1667. The dimensions(WxHxD) of the SSD is 100.00 x 69.85 x 6.80 (mm) and the max weight is 62 grams. The 860 EVO comes with a 5-year warranty or 150 TBW along with reliable tech support from Samsung.
