Features of ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 240mm CPU Liquid Cooler ( Black ) ( Liquid Freezer 3 )
The ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 240 AIO CPU Cooler (ACFRE00178A) is a high-performance all-in-one liquid CPU cooler designed for efficient cooling under heavy loads. Below are its key features, based on available information:
- Multi-Compatible Socket Support: Compatible with Intel (LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115x) and AMD (AM5, AM4) sockets, ensuring versatility for various CPU builds.
- 240mm Radiator: Features a 38mm thick radiator with an increased fin stack area (23% larger cooling surface) for superior heat dissipation and a larger liquid volume to manage temperature peaks effectively.
- High Static Pressure P12 Pro Fans: Equipped with two 120mm P12 Pro fans (600–3000 RPM) optimized for radiator airflow, offering improved performance at both low and high speeds while maintaining quiet operation.
- Integrated VRM Fan: A 60mm PWM-controlled fan cools the motherboard’s voltage regulator module (VRM), enhancing system stability and extending VRM lifespan.
- Native Offset Mounting: Optimizes contact pressure by shifting the cold plate toward the CPU hotspot for efficient heat transfer on both Intel and AMD platforms.
- Integrated Cable Management: PWM cables for radiator fans are embedded in the hose sheathing, reducing cable clutter and simplifying installation with only one visible cable connecting to the motherboard.
- Easy Installation: Pre-installed radiator fans in push configuration and a streamlined design make setup straightforward.
- 6-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty: Backed by ARCTIC’s long-term durability testing, ensuring reliability and quality.
- Cooling Performance: Effectively maintains CPU temperatures (e.g., 50–55°C under load, with some users reporting up to 88°C on high-end CPUs like Intel i7 14700KF in hot climates), surpassing expectations for its price point (~$70–$99).
- Quiet Operation: Minimal noise at moderate fan speeds (up to 75% fan speed), though fans and pump may become audible at 100% load, comparable to high-end air coolers.
This cooler is ideal for gaming enthusiasts, content creators, and users with high-performance systems, offering a balance of cooling efficiency, ease of installation, and affordability.
